Festival of Flight is an annual event in L.A. that brings together flight enthusiasts, local communities, and families to celebrate aviation through various showcases and performances. During my research, I noticed that the event seemed to attract more aviation enthusiasts than families. With this in mind, I designed a visual identity system tailored for flight enthusiasts who bring their kids. The branding is inspired by the design of an aircraft rudder, and I developed a custom typography that serves as a key element of the system.
